He explained that under the conditions for fishing in the river is that the fisherman is a citizen and resident of the Emirate Umm Al Quwain, that his age is 18 years, that the length of the fishing boat is 28 feet, and that the engine power be 150 horsepower, note that fishing is allowed in the creek from three in the afternoon until 6 pm Morning for fishermen using the nets (lekh) method, and from 6 am to 10 pm for fishermen using the gargoor method.

He stated that the requirements and criteria for practicing fishing in Umm Al Quwain Khor, including that the white cork pieces (paints) are numbered on fishing nets to identify their owners when they are released at sea, so as not to affect the environment and fish wealth , and the number of fishing nets for fish was determined.The net cost of 15 corpses, and the fishing of al-Bayah fish for 20 corpses.

He added that fishermen from Umm Al Quwain citizens are catching all kinds of fish in the emirate’s range, including Al-Bayah, Al-Safi, Al-Sha’ari, Al-Aifah, Al-Badah, Al-Hamour , Al -Qain, Al-Anfouz, Umm Dhairis and Al-Qabd.
