Kanye West disses Pete Davidson on new single

This could stay in the concepts, IMO.

Now you may know that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are an ~ item ~.

Not long after the couple went public, Kanye West allegedly bought a house across the street from Kim Kardashian:

It is giving The Great Gatsby

And not for long after that, Kanye West and Uncut Gems’ Julia Fox went public with her emerging romance:

That, it seems like everyone’s going through, right?

Now, yesterday Kanye West announced his latest single, “My Life Was Never Eazy”, prior to his highly anticipated album, Dona 2:

While the single has not yet been officially released, one of the lyrics makes the rounds: “God saved me from the crash, just so I could hit Pete Davidson’s ass.”

The “crash” he refers to is the car accident he had in 2002 when he fell asleep on the steering wheel. The crash resulted in a broken jaw, which inspired his first single, “Through the Wire …” for his debut album, College Dropout.

Well, I KNOW that this is not the first time – or the last – that an artist has aired her dirty laundry in music form. However, considering the optics surrounding Kanye West, especially regarding his feelings about Kim and Pete, I do not think it’s a piece for me to say that this is a bad appearance.

I * personally * think Kanye should take a page from the Kim playbook and focus on his relationship with Julia Fox instead of has relationship with Pete Davidson, but hey, what do I know?
