The next big Marvel show on Disney Plus is almost over – the first season of it, that is.is an animated series that makes up alternative scenarios for crucial moments such as Peggy Carter takes instead of Steve Rogers.
The series with nine episodes tookWednesday’s weekly release site, with episode 1 arriving on August 11th. Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige has already confirmed that another season is under development, and executive producer Brad Winderbaum told Collider that both seasons will consist of nine episodes. What if …? about?
Marvel’s What If …? is based on a 70s Marvel cartoon that retells a famous story in an alternative reality. The first issue Spider-Man had accepted in e.g. Fantastic Four.
The Disney Plus series will feature Jeffery Wright as the voice of Uatu, a member of an advanced alien race known as the Watchers. He narrates the alternative reality events that unfold with a massive voice including the late Chadwick Boseman, Josh Brolin, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Hayley Atwell, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan and Taika Vent.
