Supply Chain challenges will change the retail industry

The National Retail Federation (NRF) expects holiday sales in the United States to increase 8.5% to 10.5% to as much as $ 859 billion by 2021 despite persistent bottlenecks in the supply chain. This is in part because retailers like Walmart, Target and Lowe’s started filling up “months ahead of schedule” to ensure they have adequate inventory, according to an NRF update on port congestion.
