Apple first announced the Apple Watch Series 7 at the same time as the iPhone 13, but the company was vague on the release date of the watch. Now, Apple has officially announced that pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 7 will start on October 8th and that the watch will ship on October 15th.
The Apple Watch Series 7 comes with lots of exciting new things that make the idea of upgrading quite compelling. I’m most excited to have access to a full keyboard on the watch for subtitling. Sometimes it’s not ideal to use your voice to type via the clock or pull out the phone, and it’s great to have a full keyboard in these times.
You can lock an Apple Watch Series 7 on Friday, October 8 at 5 PDT (8 am EDT). The popularity of these pre-orders is yet to be seen, but if you want to be 100% sure that you will receive your watch on October 15, you may want to get online right when the pre-orders start.
Apple says that “the design of the Apple Watch Series 7 is refined with softer, more rounded corners, and the display has a unique curb that makes full-face dials and apps look seamless to connect the curvature of the case.”
The Apple Watch Series 7 is available in sizes 41 mm and 45 mm, so you can choose the one that best fits your wrist. Apple also says it is “the most durable Apple Watch ever with a stronger, more crack-resistant front crystal.”
The watch is available in five different colors so you can get one that matches your sense of style. There is midnight, starlight, green, blue and (PRODUCT) RED.
You’re looking at $ 399 for the starting price of the latest Apple Watch model, where the price jumps based on the options you choose.
