Tiffany Haddish arrested for driving under the influence

Tiffany Haddish has been arrested for driving under the influence in the US state of Georgia.

According to a report from Peachtree City Police Department received by HuffPost, officials responded to a 911 call Friday at 2:30 a.m. about a driver who would be sleeping on the steering wheel.

An officer then saw a car that matched the description and made a traffic stop.

The driver in question turned out to be the Girls Trip star, who was then arrested for a DUI.

She was transferred to the Fayette County Jail without incident.

TMZ reports that the arresting officers believed that Haddish had smoked marijuana.

Haddish spent only a short time in prison, according to TMZ. She placed a $ 1,666 bond and was on her way at 6:30 p.m.
